Today I created a KWL chart. We looked at videos on Bloom’s
Taxonomy. I encountered some problems opening the word document. I learnt how
to change the font type and to change the background of the font. I learnt how
to create a chart in excel, how to extend tables, how to change the font and
background of the table. I also looked at the various levels of cognitive
domain in Bloom’s Taxonomy and we looked at Bloom’s Digital Taxonomy. The three
domains of Bloom’s Taxonomy was also looked at. Additionally we looked at how
to create a blog.
A KWL chart can be created using word processing to allow
students to state what they do not know and what they want to know before a
lesson begins and to state what they have learnt after the lesson. The teacher
can also use the chart to ask questions about the lesson.
